MASSIVE update.
I cannot believe how delinquent I have been on keeping this up. Please forgive me, I hope to be better in the future (as usual, always trying to improve).
Lets see. The last time I posted was three weeks ago, and we had just had an offer accepted on the house. That seems SOOO long ago. Ages and ages.
First let me take care of old business. When I started uploading pictures from my Camera I realized how long it has been since I posted ANY pictures on here! Boy have I been lazy. So, here is some back-log of pictures.
January: Aaron and I went to Detriot to Watch a Red Wing game! Just a reminder, the Wild won in overtime!!

February:
You might remember we threw a superbowl party. Here is the cake Aaron worked so hard on:
Here are the promised pictures from Grandma's Birthday!! the pictures of Grandma's Birthday party as promised.
Here is the cake I made for her:
Here are some other pictures of the people who were there:

Here is the video of us singing to her. Yes, I was distracted by the baby, but I tried to get everyone on there!
I guess that brings us up to when I last posted. First, I am sure everyone wants to know how things are going with the house. The inspection went OK, we found some issues but have reached agreement on all repairs, so currently we are just sitting around, occasionally filling out mortgage related paperwork, and waiting final approval and our closing, which is supposed to happen March 27th. We are definately starting to pick out paint colors and carpet! It is going to be a lot of work to pretty much repaint the entire inside of the house, but its also nice getting to pick what we want it to look like.
Related to the new house purchase, we have finally convinced Ben R, one of our good frinds from college, that he should abandon southwest Missouri for something more - and that somethine more should be Columbus. Since we have plenty of room in the new house, he will be moving in with us in April sometime! Aaron and him are scheming about painting his walls something crazy...
Last weekend you probably all heard about the giant snow storm that hit a lot of the country, we definately involved in that. We got about 20 inches of snow over the course of two days. It was really odd. Aaron dropped me off at school at 8:30am on Friday and it wasn't even cold, then at 9:30 someone emails me and cancels something "because of the blizzard" and I am like... blizzard? What blizzard? I hate being in a windowless office. By the time I could go home (I left campus at 2pm), it was already a mess, there were about 5 inches of snow on the ground and the streets were chaos. Aaron also got to come home early from work because of whether. We were pretty much snowed in all weekend, and a lot of schools were still closed on Monday. They really do not know what to do with snow here.
Here is the snow (not at the end of the storm though...)
I tried to let the cats explore the snow a bit. I thought they wouldn't want to, but Nox was pretty gung ho!!
On Sunday when I needed to go to a study group, it took me an hour to clear out my car. Here is why:

I had to drive very very carefully, but I made it.
A lot of people were out and about, most people were driving smart, but not everyone. When we walked to return a movie on Sunday evening we were almost at the movie theater when an SUV spun 150 degrees on a busy street and crashed into the snowbank HARD. The driver was obviously OK, and obviously did not know what to do. And the traffic was not stopping at all to give her a change to get out (she was sticking into the street). Eventually another pedestrian, Aaron, and I managed to push her out. It made me feel strong, we can do what 4 wheel drive cannot!!!
Anyways, most of the snow has melted. There is still a few inches on the grass, but the streets are clear. It is finals week and I have been studying hard. I do not actually have any tests, but I have a paper and other work. Next week is spring break! Although its looking more and more like I will have some work to do over it, we are going to CA and AZ for the second half, and that will be a great break.
And, just as a final note. A bit of cat love for you all.
Thats all folks!!!
